This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.  

 

Position: Community Association Manager 

Location: Honolulu, HI 

Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $40.81/hour 

Experience:

  1. Professional experience in community association, property, facilities, hospitality, or related management.
  2. Experience reviewing budgets, financial statements, invoices, contracts, and proposals.
  3. 2+ years of community association or portfolio management experience is preferred. 

Education: High school diploma or GED required. 

Type: Full-time; Contract 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm (Ability to attend evening meetings as needed) 

  

Employers Options is seeking a Community Association Manager to join a growing and dynamic team!   

  

Job Description:  

  1. Review monthly financial statements, budgets, expenses, invoices, and reserve funding; communicate significant variances or concerns to the Board.
  2. Assist Boards with annual budgets, financial planning, investments, insurance, contracts, assessments, and future repair or replacement projects.
  3. Conduct routine property inspections and address maintenance, compliance, appearance, safety, and operational concerns.
  4. Coordinate with resident managers, employees, vendors, and contractors to oversee repairs, maintenance, and capital projects.
  5. Obtain and evaluate vendor proposals, contracts, pricing, qualifications, insurance documentation, and performance.
  6. Monitor contract renewals, insurance requirements, inspections, registrations, regulatory deadlines, and other community obligations.
  7. Respond professionally to Board members and homeowners; prepare notices, correspondence, meeting materials, project updates, and policy communications.
  8. Coordinate enforcement matters and emergency responses while handling conflicts, complaints, and sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
  9. Maintain accurate association records and use company systems to manage communications, financial documents, invoices, owner information, contracts, and community records.
  10. Attend company meetings and training and keep leadership informed of significant client, operational, financial, legal, or employee concerns.
  11. Perform other duties and special assignments as required.


Position Requirements:    

  1. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and virtual meeting platforms.
  2. Ability to learn and use association management, accounting, document management, and community portal systems.
  3. Professional written, verbal, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills.
  4. Strong organization, time management, and ability to manage multiple communities, projects, meetings, and deadlines.
  5. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle conflict, complaints, emergencies, and confidential information professionally.
  6. Reliable access to a vehicle for property visits and meetings.
